SVCEP applies for Community Education Council Grant |

The SVCEP, Inc. has recently applied to the PA Department of Education for a grant to establish a Community Education Council in Sunbury and the four-county area encompassing Union, Snyder, Northumberland, and Montour. The Community Education Council (CEC) will act as a vehicle through which regional schools and universities are able to efficiently offer high-need programs in our area. |

City of Sunbury donates office space |

The City of Sunbury has generously donated the use of office space at its downtown Municipal Building. The office will be staffed most weekdays. There, you can find general information on the project and meet the people involved. The mailing address is 225 Market Street, Suite 1, Sunbury, PA 17801. Going in the front of the building, after passing through the second set of double doors, the SVCEP office is immediately on the left. |

SVCEP Launches New Web Site |

On July 29, the Susquehanna Valley Community Education Project launched a new web site to promote and coordinate its efforts to establish a community college in the Central Susquehanna Valley region. The new site incorporates a variety of features to support its users. |
